Before going to Imperial I was selected for the PUE scheme at age 17. I was involved in the development of several websites at the Hursley Labs nr. Winchester. Including:

  • The PUE official website
  • Student internal website containing an online forum (using JSP and Javaserver)
  • GRN (Global Reuse Network) the online repository of all of IBMs OO code worldwide, as a result I was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to Code Reuse within IBM" prize. During my time I was charged with researching migration of existing C and REXX based code to other platforms including Lotus Notes, Java and VRML.
